Led by bassist Ryan “Swade” Davis, the group features a lineup of seasoned professionals: Joe Gallo on guitar, Sean Herzig on drums, and James Mann on saxophone. Together, they bring a dynamic blend of musical precision and raw, organic improvisation to the stage.
Drawing deep inspiration from legends like Herbie Hancock, Snarky Puppy, Medeski Martin & Wood, and John Scofield, Swade Brigade reinterprets classic and modern instrumental funk with a fresh, electrifying edge. Their sets are a journey through tight grooves, lush harmonies, and explosive solos—crafted to move both your feet and your mind.
Swade Brigade is actively expanding their presence throughout the Denver metro area and the Colorado mountain scene, aiming to bring their signature blend of deep-pocket funk and improvisational fire to music lovers across the Front Range and beyond.
